Poetry Ain’t Dead has become more than just an event series; it has become a home base for local artists in Atlanta. Founded and hosted in Joel Brown’s home, it has become a safe space for poets and musicians looking to express themselves without judgment.
We provide a monthly platform for emerging and established artists every 4th Friday! We’ve proudly featured performances by Emmy-winning poet Abyss, Atlanta’s Youth Poet Laureate 2019-20 Nathan Wallace, alongside many other talented artists, The show is hosted by Coley Xavier: Ranked #2 in the world at the “Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam Festival” in 2015.
